As we have alerted you, Cal/OSHA has issued guidance for construction work in California. Cal/OSHA enforces most all jobsites in California, unless it is a federal facility or project.

Cal/OSHA updated its guidance recently, showing the new information from the CDC that employees who are out sick with fever or acute respiratory illness; should not be allowed to return to work until 10 days after symptoms first appeared. The previous number of days was 7.

On May 26, 2020; Federal OSHA issued its own new guidance for COVID-19 and construction. While we are under the Cal/OSHA guidance here in California, you may want to review the federal guidance for information. Also, some national owners or general contractors of projects may want to impose the federal guidelines, so you should have them for reference.
