Bruce Wick attended the conference, and has the following reminders for members.
A significant amount of Workers' Compensation Fraud is conducted by syndicates, and the lead for these syndicates is becoming much more the marketer to workers. The attorney and medical providers are often now in the background. These marketers are using social media, group meetings, and other local gatherings to try to get employees involved.

They use various ruses to get employees to sign, including "We are signing you up for your employers health insurance, or for the ACA".

It can be valuable to provide employees with information about the facts of WC coverage, along with the felony prosecutions of employees who file fraudulent WC cases.
