Two recent Appellate Court Rulings could negatively impact CALPASC members!

Navigators Specialty Insurance Company v. Moorefield Construction, Inc.

This ruling gives general liability insurers an ability to deny coverage for construction defects when the construction is performed outside of specifications and recommendations; specifically, outside an appropriate construction schedule!

Augustus, et al v. ABM Security Services, Inc.

Here, the California Supreme Court issued a ruling that ABM Security owes $90 Million in wages, penalties, and fees, for requiring security personnel to be on call with their pagers or phones on, during their rest breaks!
