Regulations Take Effect May 1, 2015

The Cal/OSHA Standards Board  approved the proposal with no amendments at their Board meeting on February 19. CALPASC's Bruce Wick spoke strongly against the proposal and cited the lack of data to back up the suggested changes.

Unfortunately, the Board voted 5 to1 in favor, with only one Board member, Bill Jackson of Granite Construction, in opposition.

CALPASC is hosting a members-only webinar on March 4, 2015 (log in information to be sent to members shortly), to help members prepare for implementation as of May 1, 2015.
