CALPASC provides trade councils as a free member benefit. These councils, also known as forums or roundtables, allow members to work together and be informed about trade-specific issues and our local and statewide advocacy efforts. Each council functions as its own entity within our association, and is led by a Chair and Vice-Chair or Co-Chair. Most
(not all) trade council meetings are open to all members, including Associates and Affiliates, and take place bi-monthly or quarterly.
With the exception of the Concrete Council, which since last year has gone statewide, trade councils function at the chapter level only. The following trade councils are currently in operation across the state:
Some of the councils above are more active than others. To learn more, get involved, or even start a new trade council, go to Northern/Central California, Orange County Inland Empire, or San Diego and contact your chapter staff.
